How to setup Tailscale VPN

Step 1: Download the Tailscale Installer

  1. Visit the official Tailscale download page: Tailscale Download.
  2. Scroll down to find the Windows section (or select your platform if you’re using a different OS).
  3. Click the Download for Windows button to download the installer.

Step 2: Install Tailscale

  1. Once the installer is downloaded, open the file to begin installation.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process.

Step 3: Open Tailscale

  1. After installation, find the Tailscale icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner of the screen; click the upward arrow if needed).
  2. Click the Tailscale icon to open it.

Step 4: Log In

  1. Tailscale will prompt you to log in. Click Log In.
  2. Use your work email and password

Step 5: Start Using Tailscale

  1. After logging in, you’ll see your device listed and connected in the Tailscale interface.
  2. You can now start using Tailscale to connect to other devices securely!
